Jackson Martinez has agreed terms with Arsenal ahead of a potential summer transfer, according to reports in Portugal.

Martinez, 28, has scored 32 goals for Porto this season but has been angling for a move away – with Manchester United and Spurs linked.

However, the Jornal di Noticias newspaper suggests the Colombian is heading for Arsenal, with a ‘principle agreement’ reached for him to sign.

The paper adds that nothing has been sorted out with Porto, but even the club’s fans are resigned to losing the player, having given him a send off at their last game of the season.
