The Ecuadorian speedster remarkably beat the likes of Lionel Messi, Gareth Bale and Cristiano Ronaldo to the title, according to a FIFA study which featured in Spanish newspaper Mundo Deportivo.

We knew Valencia was rapid but not that rapid!

Valencia, 29, clocked an astonishing speed of 35.1 km/h – there’s no wonder he’s thriving at wing-back under Louis van Gaal’s new system at Old Trafford.
