Mariah Carey and James Packer are both still legally married to exes

Don't ring the wedding bells yet! Neither Mariah Carey nor James Packer are officially divorced from their previous marriages, reports TMZ.
Despite much merry making over their announcement (and that huge 35-carat rock), both Carey and Packer are still legally married to their former spouses. The outlet is reporting that songstress has not fully settled her divorce from funny-man Nick Cannon because there are financial issues that still need to be worked out, despite a very specific prep.

Even though they haven't worked all the financials out, the exes are friendly and Cannon seems to be all for the union. The America's Got Talent host Instagramed a funny photo mocking his dismay at the size of his ex's engagement ring, along with the caption, "#AllLove Congrats to @MariahCarey and James! May God Bless Your Future Union... #GreatPeople #GreatCouple."
Mariah Carey and James Packer are both still legally married to exes. As for the billionaire businessman, the Aussie's still married to Erica Packer, whom he separated from in 2013. His ex has also moved on to a world-famous singer - she's dating Seal. But despite both members of the former couple moving on to greener and more musical pastures, they haven't been able to legally divorce because the laws in Australia have slowed down their process.
We have a feeling if Packer and his billions can't fix this conundrum - no one can.
