Gionee launches New S6 smartphone

 The handset comes with hybrid dual sim functionality and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system.
Gionee has expanded its product portfolio with the launch of its latest handset called S6 in India. It will be exclusively available on Flipkart in Silver, Golden and Rose Gold colour options.
The Gionee S6 features a 5.5-inch Super AMOLED display made scratch resistant with a coating of Corning Gorilla Glass 3 on top. The handset comes with hybrid dual sim functionality and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system topped with the Amigo UI of the company. The smartphone is powered by a 1.3GHz octa-core MediaTek processor paired with 3GB of RAM. The onboard storage of the device stands at 32GB, which can be expanded up to 128GB using a microSD card.

Gionee S6 comes equipped with a 13MP rear camera accompanied with LED flash and a 5MP front facing snapper for clicking selfies. The connectivity attributes of the smartphone include 4G, LTE, 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS and it packs a 3,150 mAh battery.

Earlier this week, Gionee launched its Pioneer P5W  smartphone. Featuring a 5-inch (1280x720p) HD IPS display, the dual-sim phone runs Android 5.1 Lollipop and is powered by 1.3GHz quad-core processor and 1GB RAM. It offers 16GB of internal storage and can hold microSD cards up 128GB for extra storage.

Gionee P5W packs 2,000mAh battery and sports 5MP rear camera with LED flash and 2MP front facing camera.
