Onyeka Onwenu denies plans to sue Buhari over sack

 
Veteran music star, Onyeka Onwenu has denied that she planned to sue President Muhammadu Buhari over her sack as the Director-General of the National Centre for Women Development, reports Nigerian ENtertainment Today
In a release by the legendary musician and actress, she reveals the treatment she got from some of her staff allegedly simply because she was an ‘Igbo woman’, and denied that she was suing the president of Nigeria over her sacking.

She served as DG for two years and five months and said that she took the termination of her appointment in good faith.
Onyeka Owenu insisted that since she did not lobby for the job, she had no plans of lobbying to keep it.

Sale of dried meat banned in Maiduguri

  he Borno Government on Friday banned the sale of dried meat in order to curtail the activities of Boko Haram terrorists currently engaged in cattle rusting to fund their operations.
