CAFCON had in a bid to get banks to drop some of their arbitrary charges called on customers to shun banking halls on March 1.
The call seemed to have been futile as many bank customers in Lagos ignored the call.
A visit to some of the banks in Lagos showed that some customers turned up at the various banks to do banking transactions.
A lot of customers were also seen using their credit cards to withdraw money from Automated Teller Machines (ATMs) in these banks.
Some of the customers who spoke with our reporter said their businesses would suffer if they comply with the directive of CAFCON
They said they have important transactions to make on Tuesday and could not avoid the banks.
They, however, said they were in solidarity with the spirit of the boycott.
